Fashion is fleeting, and so are my style icons... This weeks awards go to:

Chuck Bass (Guitar) & Blair Waldorf (Salad). Love everything about these too. Have upped my headband/cravat/scarf quota this week.

Robots In Disguise. Probably because Dee Plume rocks french clown better than anyone I know. 

Only two this week. It's hard to wear a blazer with a headband and a ruff and look constantly evil.

US Figure Skating Nationals: This Years New Ice Princess

It is one day away from the even that my friend Aunt Joyce refers to as a national holiday: The ladies long programs at US nationals. America produces the ultimate ice princesses. Sure these girls may have issues with jumps from time to time, but no one does a layback like them, or includes a properly extended spiral in the short program (despite no longer being a required element).




My biggest surprise/joy from the short programs was Caroline Zhang. Girl is testimony that if you work hard, fix your diet and up your cardio, you too can make a come back. Actually felt teary after she finished. What a babe.

Ballet gear.... I'm going to take a big leap and join an adult ballet class again. I need tights, skirts etc.

New skating boots. After many years of loyal service, mine are starting to die. As in, they are held together with tape, and as much as I feel that is very Oksana Biul pre Victor Petrenko, I dont dig over the boot tights, so, new white fancy boots please!

A Baby G watch in that blue colour I love. So 90's.
